Learn to dance.. and social life? help?

uhh.. well last year 3 girls asked me to sadie hawkins.. but i said no.. it wasnt really the fact that i didnt like them.. it was because i couldnt dance :/ So im guessing that i need to figure this thing out :/ so i somehow ended up at a dance few weeks ago although i didnt want to be.. first dance of my highschool year .. and a girl with a great smile and personality asked me to dance.. and well she convinced me to go with her to the dance floor.. and then.. well i couldnt really do anything much.. so umm.. im guessing that girls like me? uhh.. so how do you think i should figure out this dancing thing.. im into rock.. so i never listen to much pop either..
